About

Jaya Kamlani is an award-winning Indian-American author and poet

In 1969, when Jaya migrated to New York, she looked at America with her Indian eyes to understand the pulse and culture of her new world. While Jaya trained to be a copywriter in the Advertising industry, after a year of exposure to all facets of advertising, she wound up in the less glamorous world of media planning.

A few years later, with two kids in nursery school, Jaya’s husband encouraged her to take a career leap into Information Technology, a field then in its infancy. After two successful decades in technology, Jaya returned to nurture her first love: writing.

Jaya has received several prestigious awards for literature and social advocacy from the Indian government, including the Prime Minister’s office. Her literary works include three investigative books, her memoir, and a poetry collection.

Jaya's books are available on Amazon. And here's the soundtrack from her memoir.

She is working on "The Conspirators 3".
